TIME SOLUTIONS, LLC Company Job Title: Junior Investigative Analyst Clearance: Top Secret (with SSBI investigation) Location: Clarksburg, WV Summary: The Junior Investigative Analyst provides research and analysis support for workload processing to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) Section. The mission of the FBI CJIS Division’s NICS Section is to ensure national security and public safety by providing the timely determination of a person's eligibility to possess firearms or explosives in accordance with federal law. Upon hire, the Junior Investigative Analyst will receive several weeks of on-the-job-training to prepare them for functioning independently and successfully in this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position) •Data research and collection •Data validation and analysis •Data modeling and project testing •Research and analysis in accordance with performance measurements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Work monitored for quality. •Contact of appropriate agencies across the United States, as needed •Coordination internally and externally to ensure data quality •Evaluation of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to the work being processed and provide recommended actions or solutions •Composition and maintenance of adequate documentation of all work, as required by SOPs •Participate in training, periodic reviews and other meetings, as required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: •Ability to work various 5-day shifts Monday through Saturday. •Intermediate computer, printer, copier, telephone and scanning skills. •Superior customer service skills. •Strong oral and written communication skills. •Ability to apply analytic processes and methods. •Ability to independently prioritize, plan, and execute work objectives as deemed necessary by the NICS Section. Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.) •Active Top Secret Clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) •High school diploma or equivalent •1 year of analytical experience •Individuals with a Federal Firearms Licenses (FFL) or individuals with any immediate family members with a FFL, will not be considered.
